UPDATE: With cameras flashing and video rolling, approximately 60 VIP guests helped to “officially” welcome dasHAUS to Tempe at the Grand Opening event. Tempe Mayor Hugh Hallman, German Honorary Consul Bernard Otremba-Blanc, GACC Managing Director Rene van den Hoevel, AZ Commerce Authority Director Bennett Curry, ASU VP for Knowledge Enterprise Development Sethurman Panchanathan, ASU Skysong VP Todd Hardy, and ASU Lightworks Director Bill Brandt were on-hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony, then invited the guests to join them for a champagne/mimosa toast.

ORIGINAL POST: The Grand Opening of dasHAUS is scheduled for Monday, January 23rd at 8:00am, at the Tempe Center for the Arts. Be sure to arrive early to allow ample time for check in! Public officials and industry experts representing all aspects of green building and technology will be on-site to welcome dasHAUS to Tempe for its 10-day exhibition and perform the official ribbon-cutting. The Grand Opening ceremony will be immediately followed by the dasHAUS Sustainability Conference, The Net-Zero House Conference – Optimal Conditions in the Valley of the Sun.
